In short, the circumstances right now is rocks flying all over the place, water have merged with fire overtaking the arena. Great! But Spirit Spirit Team…but I still couldn’t figure out whether or not Spirit Spirit Team still has a fighter left. They should have one right? Or else the match will end very soon.

Wolf-dage who still had a little bit of sense in him finally stopped. He looked around howling. “Enough! Enough! Everyone stop now! We have already helped Prince get his revenge. I think Prince in Heaven* will rest easy now.”

Hearing her husband’s voice, Yu Lian-dasao also stopped. She looked at the ruined arena and whimpered out, “Prince, you can rest in peace now…”

“Prince-gege! Wahhhh!” Tears welled up in Doll’s eyes again.

“Prince! I have avenged your death!” Gui shouted at the sky, tears overflowing. “Prince are you listening?! We finally helped you get your revenge~~”

I swallowed a melon seed, drank some coke and dodged another fireball. “I heard you.” But Gui you’re yelling at the wrong place. I’m not in the sky; I’m at your left hand side.

Wolf-dage titled his head and looked up at the pillar where the referee was and asked, “Referee, why aren’t you declaring that we are the winners? Unless you still want us to continue to wreak havoc. I must let you know, my team member’s patience isn’t very good.”

Sniffling, the referee almost cried and hurriedly began to explain. “But Spirit Spirit team still has one member left. The rules say that all members have to be dead or have surrendered to be able to announce a winner.”

“Surrender! Surrender!” Wolf-dage didn’t even have the chance to open his mouth when a sharp voice cried out from under a pile of rocks. Wolf-dage walked over there and shifted the rocks away to see a flower with only one petal left lying miserably under it.

The referee shouted to the crowds. “Odd Squad wins! Odd Squad wins and successfully entered the finals!”

I happily ran to the arena hugging with my teammates. Awesome! We got in!

Sometime later…I heard a strange rumor about me. Some people say that I’m more scary dead than alive. What do they mean by that? Meatbun and I could only blink our innocent eyes not understanding.

Ugly Wolf waved around his stick*, persistently fighting against the Rock Demon. When it comes to strength and physique Ugly Wolf obviously don’t stand a chance against the rock-hard Rock Demon. But Ugly Wolf snorted and his heart suffering. Even a 3 year old kid knows how to defeat a rock. All you have to do is hit him repeated with both heat and ice and he’ll shatter right?

“Gui! Get Fire Phoenix to spit fire at the Rock Demon!” Ugly Wolf PMed* Gui and Gui responded instantly.

“You think fire will have an effect on me?” the Rock Demon was being burned by the fire but he seemed very nonchalant.

Ugly Wolf grinned icily. What happens if we add water? Okay, watch me make your shatter into pieces….water, should I go get Yu Lian? No, Yu Lian only has fire and earth spells, Doll can’t be used, Gui won’t be much help and Lolidragon is a thief. Damn it! No water…Ugly Wolf stood frozen in place. Now what are we supposed to do? There’s no way I’m going up to the Water Demon and say, ‘Hey! Lend me some water so I can kill the Rock Demon!”

“Wahh~~Mama!” Meatbun was on the side crying violently. The arena was practically being flooded by tears.

Ugly Wolf’s ugly face broke out into a smile. How amazing, Prince is already dead but he didn’t forget to leave us with this important “orphan” Ugly Wolf quickly scooped up Meatbun and began to talk. “Meatbun, that rock other there was the reason why your Mama died. Do you want to get revenge for her?”

“Wah~ what’s revenge?” Meatbun looked up with huge innocent eyes.

Ugly Wolf scratched his head a bit. “Just…go other to that Rock Demon and cry and your Mama will be very happy!” Ugly Wolf said in his best comforting voice*.

“Then Mama will come back? Meat-bunbun misses Mama.”

“Yup…probably!”

“Okay!” Meatbun’s face filled with resolve began to jump and bounce towards the Rock Demon.

Ugly Wolf wiped away a cold sweat; thankful that Meat buns don’t have brains.

Rock Demon began to stare at the Meat bun that’s hopping towards him. Meatbun jumped onto his shoulder and two water pillars immediately came on. Rock Demon began to hear himself start to crack. His face in alarm began to frantically trying to grab Meatbun. “What are you doing? Get off!” However Meatbun is small and very active. In a second he was on his head, his shoulders, and his arms…the two water taps running destroying Rock Demon’s body.

The whole situation did a 180 turn!

I just got back from the rebirth point, passed the after-death vomiting stage and began to look around me bored.

“Now what am I supposed to do?” I mumbled to myself before remembering. “That right! I should go and see how the match is faring.”

So that I would get to the match on time, I quickly grabbed a bag of melon seeds, brought a plate of fried rice and a bottle of coke and hurried on to the stadium. I got there just in time to see Gui in his maniacal state. I found a seat and began to look at my teammates who turned crazy because of my death.

“Wow~ if I knew Gui could control Fire Phoenix just like that then I should have committed suicide so that we could have delicious barbeque meat!”

“What a scary Inferno Dragon…”

“Yu Lian-dasao is really ferocious…”

I signed for the countless time, but my crazy teammates are continuously being mad. By the time I finished eating my fried rice the whole arena turned into a disaster. “Flaming floods” and “fallen sky and cracked earth…” *

Floods.

“Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Mama didn’t come back! Mama~!!” Meatbun’s two water taps have now evolved into two full fledged waterfalls! The flowing water overtook the whole arena flooding it. Meatbun must have set a new record for flooding the stadium.

Flames.

“Fire Phoenix, quickly! Burn all of the arrogant demons into hell! Ahahaha~” Gui have already entered in a semi-mad state and Fire Phoenix have begun to get addicted to burning. Aside from the small number of Odd Squad members, Fire Phoenix spit out fire at anyone and anyplace.

Fallen sky.

“Bump” the overflow sky sounded. Doll’s Horrifying Underworld Inferno Dragon “once again” rammed into the stadium pillars.* Pieces of rock that’s the size of human heads flew all over the arena. Even the spectators over at the stands suffered from the attack of the flying rocks. I dodged.  Wow, almost hit me. *

Cracked earth.

When Yu Lian-dasao’s terrifying earthquake spell is used for the 11^th time, the ground of the arena already turned into 6 uneven pieces and it seems like her goal is to split the ground until its barely recognizable.

“Eugh.” My entire body was entwined with grass, unable to move an inch.

“Prince!” Odd Squad members looked shocked. Wolf-nii ran up to me grabbing at the grass while Doll directed her flaming skeletons to cover us. Lolidragon who was originally running towards the opponents ran back, hurriedly cutting the grass with her dagger.

I began struggling, and looking up saw that the Rock Demon was charging towards us. I quickly turned ashen, loudly shouting. “Forget about me! Defend yourselves!”

“Skeletons hurry over and defend!” Doll came to our side summoning her skeletons to guard against the Rock Demon. However, the Tree Demon swung one of its mighty branches and scattered the skeletons with ease. Although it wasn’t enough to kill of the skeletons, it caused them enough damage to take a long time crawling back up. As the Tree Demon surged forward, Yu Lian set out a ranging fireball which sent him back scurrying back to the Demon Demon Team. The Rock Demon was unaffected and raised his arm to swap Doll away. Noticing just in time, Ugly Wolf quickly pushed her out of the way and took the heavy blow himself. Towering over 200 centimeters even Wolf-nii was sent flying.

“Wolf…!” Yu Lian-dasao cried out.

“Flaming Skeletons! Hurry and come protect everyone!” Doll was sent into a panic, calling her skeletons to defend against the offense of the Rock Demon.

“GUI! Ferocious Spell hurry up and use the Ferocious Spell!” I roared.

“Right…” Gui immediately used his Ferocious Spell on me.

I felt more power surge inside of me and started struggling. In a while I freed out my right arm. “Continuous Blade!” Cut, Slice, Slash, Hack, Nick, Chop, I used every type of cutting known to man to get rid of the grass on my body. After freeing myself, I jumped up and ran to help against the fight with the Rock Demon.

Suddenly a large water pillar appeared in front of me, shocked, I hurriedly took a step back. Unfortunately I don’t have eyes on the back of my head, so I didn’t see that behind me there was another large water pillar. On top of which the one behind me was even stronger than the one in front, I was trapped.

“Ahh…” I was being washed up along with the strong currents which were pulling me off the arena. Panicked I grabbed my Black Sabre and stabbed it into the ground griping it tightly. Thankfully I wasn’t washed off the stage but once the water receded I found myself once again tied up by the grass. How irritating!

I cut away the grass, got hit by two water pillars, when the water finally pulled away; I got tangled up in grass again! At this time, I turned to look at Doll and everyone else worried about how they were faring. Thankfully Doll teamed up with Yu Lian-dasao so they were on par with the Rock Demon. Gui grabbed his instrument and began was using Ghost Chase Super Sonic Arrow to distract the enemy. Wolf-nii is fighting by himself?! I finally remembered that there was a demon that you can’t see – Wind Demon! The Wind Demon is fighting with Wolf-nii. Not good! Where’s Lolidragon? I turned around to look at the other members of Demon Demon Team and as expected I saw Lolidragon crouching sneakily behind the Water Demon ready to take it down by surprise…but…”Lolidragon, run!”

The Tree Demon, unhurt, was planning his assassin of the female thief. Once Lolidragon showed up his huge tree branches came throttling out of nowhere.

“Ahh…!” Lolidragon who was never good with ducking was hit directly by the branch causing her to lose a lot of blood. She stood up again quickly returned back to Odd Squad. Noticing that Wolf-nii was having a lot of trouble, she immediately rushed to aid him in battle. Invisible people although really hard to see with the naked eye, however, it is hard to conceal itself against the trained eyes of a thief. Along with Gui’s assistance, the Wind Demon was sent scurrying back to Demon Demon Team’s corner.

Suddenly, the demon that hadn’t moved once since the beginning of the fight started to chant a healing spell. Flower petals flew over to the Wind Demon’s head and almost immediately he began to heal.

“Looks like Flower Demon is a priest!” Ugly Wolf uttered in surprise.

Tree Demon seeing what was happening ran to help out the Wind Demon. After adding the strong and merciless Tree Demon, Wolf-nii, Lolidragon and Gui could only fight evenly. Doll and Yu Lian could only stop the Rock Demons offensive – which against the rock (excuse the pun) hard Rock Demon had absolutely no effect. And me? I am still obviously trapped between the Grass and Water Demon unable to do anything.
At this rate, we’re going to be finished! I once again struggled wildly against the grass and pulled out Meatbun.

“Mama? Are you playing water? Meatbun also wants to play!” Meatbun looked up at me – being washed up almost disfigured because of the Water Demon – with his big round eyes.

After all this? I never want to play with water again! With no strength left the Grass Demon bound me again. “Meatbun wait until I’m being washed up with the current again. I want you to use technique XXX to get me out of here. Do you understand?”

“Yup~ I understand.”

I began to hack at the grass of the N time. Jumping up the pillar of water began to surge at me again.

And me using my left hand grabbing tightly to Meatbun rose with them. “Keep away from that water current Meatbun.” Meatbun automatically went to the left missing the Water Demon who was coming right at us.

I had no choice but to reply on a meatbun flying back and forth, searching for opponents. I decided first to get rid of the Grass and Water Demon since if I didn’t then I wouldn’t be able to walk on the ground at all anymore! “Meatbun, slowly approach the enemy.”

“What’s an ‘enemy’?”

I face palmed. “Go towards the people gathered over there.” I pulled out my Black Sabre and pointed in the direction of Demon Demon Team.

“Okay~ Mama!” Meatbun obediently began to advance on Demon Demon Team.

“Dragon. Roll. Chop.” I bypassed a water pillar and turned into a dragon charging at the Water Demon. That hateful Water Demon immediately received a large gaping hole in his stomach thanks to me. I was jump about to give him another trust of my sword and send the Demon to the rebirth point my body was tangled up by grass again. But the worst thing was…

“Ice Pillar.” The seriously hurt Water Demon smiled sinisterly, hands holding onto more than 10 ice poles.
“(prince’s attack)” I hurriedly cut of the grass on my body but it was too late to duck, 5 pillars pierced me. My face turned white…eugh! It really hurt, the pain was worst on my left leg where a pillar and penetrated through. The rest merely hit the front of the body. Although I still have more than half of my life I was once again bound by the Grass Demon. In front of me suddenly appeared N number of ice pillars! Looks like Demon Demon Team is about to complete their hideous goal – to turn me into an ice kabob.

“Even if I have to die, I’m taking one with me. Meatbun, dog chase attack!” I ordered Meatbun to attack the Water Demon.

“Ah…” I was continuously hit by ice pillars, in my left hand, waist, shoulder and one even passed by my forehead. On the other side the Water Demon was hit continuously by Meatbun’s attack but alas the Flower Demon reacted fast enough to heal him. I lay on the ground and looked at my life stats. Looks like I couldn’t even bring down one of them with me, damn it.

“Prince, let’s go!” Lolidragon appeared suddenly behind me and began pulling me away. Grass Demon didn’t give up; he quickly bound both of us cutting off our escape. But a light arrow prevented him from doing so. Gui extremely angry began to use Full Sky Raining Arrows on the Grass Demon giving him no choice but to release me and use grass to protect himself, Flower Demon and the Water Demon.

“Almost there Prince!” Lolidragon was pulling as hard as she can trying to get me Wolf-nii in time to be healed. Ugly Wolf himself wanted to come and heal me but with Lolidragon gone and Gui going berserk it was all he can do not to be killed by the Wind and Tree Demon. Extremely busy he couldn’t pull some time to come heal me.

I considered the circumstances and opened my mouth to yell at Lolidragon. “Go help Wolf-nii! He can’t keep fighting by himself!”

Lolidragon looked at Wolf-nii then looked at me. “Damn it, if I don’t help Wolf-nii get rid of those too then we wouldn’t have a chance to help Prince!”

Lolidragon bit her lip and left me hurrying back to help Ugly Wolf to defend against the two. “You have to hang in here, do you hear me Prince?!” Lolidragon yelled over her shoulder.

At this time I could only weakly nod my head a bit, hang in there? This stupid 99% reality! The wound is constantly making my life drop, how am I supposed to hang in there? You’re not allowed to bring blood into the contest either…crap. I’m getting dizzy and things are turning fuzzy…I quickly shoke my head.

At this time the Water Demon’s wounds are completely healed and he sent a furry of ice pillars towards me – who was still woozy in a dream like state.

“Prince~” Gui, Lolidragon, Ugly Wolf, Yu Lian and Doll cried out in despair.

“Prince!” Gui leaped over holding on to the now unconscious me. At that moment the water current immediately washed both of us away. Gui tired to shield me with his body but no avail the tiny amount of blood in my body stained the water red…

Suddenly my head cleared and I understood perfectly. I am just one drop away from dying. “Gui, you must fight!”

Gui looked at me frightened. “Prince, no…no you can’t die!”

I smiled lightly my body becoming hazy turning bright like starlight. Gui looked sorrowful at me as I turned into a pillar of light flying into the sky.

“Prince.” Gui looked at his hand who was just momentarily holding on to me and pounded the ground. His voice was also chocking.

“Prince.” Lolidragon looked white.

“Why…” Yu Lian covered her mouth, eyes sparkling with tears.

“No, Prince!” Wolf-nii roared in sadness.

“Wahhhh….wahhh, Prince-nii!” Doll began to cry.

“Mama? Where did Mama go? Wahhhh.” Meatbun’s super watery fountain reappeared creating a river.

At the arena the whole area seemed to be at a standstill. The feeling of sorrow spread throughout the spectators, even member of Demon Demon Team seemed to be at a loss of what to do. The minutes passed one by one, until finally Demon Demon Team decided to move again. But at that time flames of fury was coming off of Gui.

“Fire Phoenix. As you master I command you: Burn! Send all those ignorant bastards that dared to hurt my true love into the fiery depths of hell.” Gui eyes burned with the desire to revenge. Even the ever disobedient Fire Phoenix knows that right now isn’t the time to disobey. He sqacked once and flew up high, flames spilling out of his mouth at Demon Demon Team. Grass Demon was originally going to set up a barricade but what can grass do to fire? Water Demon immediately went to help using water to block the life-threatening flames.

Grass Demon knowing things are good wanted to use its binding attack against Gui. Long grass suddenly appeared on the ground beneath Gui’s feet.

“Earthquake Spell!” Yu Lian crouched on the ground her right hand touching it slightly. At that second the ground underneath the Grass Demon immediately spilt into two. The Grass Demon lost his footing and was about to fall into the hole but thankfully the Grass Demon was nearby and caught him in time. However Yu Lian only smiled lightly finishing her second incantation. The ground began to split going straight towards both the Grass Demon and the Tree Demon.

“You used this trick to kill Prince, you really think I’m going to let you kill Gui too?! In your dreams!” Yu Lian lightly spat out these words.

“Hell’s wrath from the darkest depth of your abyss. I call upon the remains of the undead fire dragon. Heed my call and appear before me! Obey your master and clear the path before me of all the ignorant barbarians.” Doll’s normally cheerfully face was dark and tinted with danger. Even summoning the Underworld’s Inferno Dragon couldn’t satisfy her need to revenge Prince. And so, Demon Demon team now has not only to fight the divine flames of the Fire Phoenix but now also the raging fire-spitting Inferno Dragon. No doubt for the Demon Demon Team it was like adding frost to ice…no fire to oil.

I twirled my fingers around guiltily, and muttered in a sad voice. “I didn’t do it on purpose!”

I just walked off from the stage when Lolidragon approached me with a fierce angry aura. “Prince you’re DEAD!”

“You even made up puke up last nights dinner!” Yu Lian-Dasao smiled. Her fearsome shadow reappeared again.

“Prince-nii! Doll is very scared~” Scared? But Doll, why does your expression look like a starving dragon that just saw fresh meat?

“Ai….Prince I think you already know this. From the beginning I have always thought of you as a younger brother.” Then don’t swing around your 2 meter cane and do warm up exercises! Wolf-nii don’t you know? For a warrior to be defeated by a priest in terms of physical strength is a very humiliating thing?!

“Lord Prince…” Gui looked worried.

A dagger, two large canes and a skeleton hand was inches from from hitting me and all I could do was watch. Miserably I called out. “Gui, save me~~”

Gui immediately rushed in front of me. “Don’t attack Lord Prince~~”

A small brawl commenced in which fists and feet, slippers and knives were used to attack. I hid behind Gui safely escaping from torture. Thankfully I looked at Gui who now has no resemblance of a human. (Strange, why didn’t he die? Look like Wolf-nii’s cure had Gui’s help in leveling up.) Swearing to myself, I promised to not to hit Gui too much next time.

“Prince! You’re so sly.” Lolidragon yelled.

“How is that true? You are now happy after beating someone into a pulp, yet I in turn am not hurt. Also it even completed my desire of beating up Gui. Everything is falling into place. Hahaha.” I really am ice cold. Haha.

“Wonder why they asked for Nii-san for? I’m starving.” Just before, the announcements came up asking for our team leader to go see them, saying something about that they need to consult. Hope it’s not that our victory wasn’t counted! Would we have to fight again? No way…I already suffered so much, to have out victory annulled. Then I will actually use Qing Dynasty’s 10 Torture Techniques on the game operators.

“You really eat a lot…makes me wonder if you really are female.” Lolidragon suddenly realized she said the wrong thing. My face suddenly turned pale and looked at Dasao and Doll to see if they realized anything. “…*bishounen.

“…” Good thinking Lolidragon! I let out a sigh.

“Wolf is back!’ Yu Lian-dasao grinned excited.

“Ai…everyone, I have some bad news.” Ugly Wolf-nii furrowed his brows together. “We have to fight one more time.”

“Now? Already?” But I’m hungry….

“Technically we still have 20 more minutes.”

“Gui…” we all turned to look at Gui who seemed to turn into a pile of discarded clay.

“I’ll heal him. Don’t worry.” Wolf-nii replied noting everyone’s gaze. “This is 10 times lighter than what Prince did to Gui before.”

…I pretended I never heard that.

“Demon Demon Team is our next opponent. And another thing, the reason why we are fighting twice in a row is because we’re one of the last teams who haven’t finished yet. They want to complete all the groupings today therefore everyone must fight.” Wolf-nii said frustrated. “The stupid thing is, there’s no time for us to find any information regarding the opponent. Yet the other team after watching our fights know exactly what they’re up against. It’s very unfavorable against us.”

“*” I muttered vaguely while nibbling on a piece of steamed bun.

“That’s not for certain. Thankfully, the fight just then didn’t actually show any of our skills. All they would know is our professions.” Yu Lian-dasao smiled cheerfully.

“Hope that’s true…”

At the arena. I broke out a cold sweat and managed to force my mouth to ask, “That’s our opponents?”

“Looks like it.” Wolf-nii’s brows furrowed even more tightly if that was even possible.

“Are you serious?! I’m talking about the flower, a blade of grass, a pool of water, a tree, a piece of rock and something that no one can see is our opponents?” My mouth dropped open, that’s a bit…exaggerated.

“No wonder they’re called Demon Demon Team. It’s made up of a Tree Demon, Flower Demon, Water Demon, Rock Demon, Wind Demon and Grass Demon. This isn’t good. Demons are classified in complicated categories and they’re skills are constantly changing. Plus players choosing to become a Demon are minimal therefore we never fought against a Demon team before. Our knowledge of them is too little. This fight is going to be tough.” Lolidragon explained worriedly.

“Ai…And I was going to try out the things I said at the last fight…but now…” I let out a sigh. “Lolidragon, do you think it/he/she/her/him/they will have intestines for me to pull?”

“No clue.”

“No matter, we still have to fight anyways.” I don’t care who my opponent is, I just want to stretch out my arms and legs and start the fight.

“Prince is right, let’s get them!” Wolf-nii roared.

I began to laugh wildly and pulled out my Black Sabre. The last preliminary grouping fight, start.

Once the competition started, I immediately started rushing forward. Might was well start by eliminating two of them. But just then I realized my foot was bound together by something. My whole body ended up sprawled on the ground, I tuned to look at my foot…grass? Why does the arena have grass to trip me? I quickly used my Sabre to cut the grass and moved to crawl back up when even more long strands of grass popped up beside me.

* 什么最恐怖的队伍，害我怕得要死。- It sounded like Prince is saying like ‘Ha, they’re not that scary after all…’ but I didn’t know how to write it AND still keep the original words intact.
* 恶 – It’s the onomatopoeia for barfing but I don’t know how to put it in the story and STILL have it sound right so I put it in (barf) where the word is.
* 人心目中的美男子 – I have no idea what this means. So I only left the bishounen part on.
* 速粉不離 – Once again, not sure.
